CELLS (3)

Today you are going to work with your computers and then in your notebooks. I want to be sure you know the main parts of the cell and you can compare a plant cell and an animal cell.

Here are the activities you have to do first (remeber to send your activities to my email: teacherjulia.emh@gmail.com):

1. Complete this worksheet: CELLS: PARTS AND FUNCTION
2. Complete the chart: PLANT CELL vs. ANIMAL CELL
3. Name the parts of the cells and say if they animal cell or plan cell: PLANT CELL vs ANIMAL CELL (2)

After doing this activities I'm sure you are able to see the main differences between the plant cell and the animal cell.

Next you are going to be given some pictures of cells, you have to observe them carefully and see the different parts of them (nucleus, cytoplasm, organelles, membrane, cell wall, chloroplasts). This is what you have to do:

1. Stick them in your notebook.
2. Label the parts you can distinguish.
3. Write what kind of cell it is: plan cell or animal cell.
4.  Explain the reason that makes you think it's a plant cell or an animal cell.
